Al Casey

Al Casey (1936-2006) was a non-Arizona native, however moved was raised in Arizona from a young age. By the age of 17, he was an essential part of the early country scene in the Arizona. He worked closely with Lee Hazelwood, Sanford Clark, and Duane Eddy. You can hear Casey’s distinctive guitar work on hits such as Lee Hazlewood and Sanford Clark’s “The Fool.” He would later go on to be an important figure in surf rock and would work with a host of the best bands and musicians such as, The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, and Dean Martin. Al Casey is an inductee to the Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame.
