The Mason Lounge

The Mason Jar, later becoming The Rebel Lounge, was established in 1979. With the first show featuring antic-prone band The Spiffs, The Mason Jar would establish themselves as a home for punk, metal and other heavier genres ("Mason Jar"). The Mason Jar was an essential part of rock music in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. They were an essential part of local bands such as Jimmy Eat World. The Mason Jar, would host many small touring bands before they blew up, such as, Tool, Green Day, Nirvana, and one of Linkin Park’s very first show’s featuring Arizona native, Chester Bennington ("About: The Rebel Lounge").
